Wilo has made two wastewater therapy acquisitions in Germany: FSM Frankenberger GmbH & Co KG in Pohlheim and WSM Walower Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH in Walow.

Both corporations specialize in applied sciences for mechanical cleaning and therapy of wastewater.
“Thanks to the acquisitions, we will offer our customers an even wider range of options,” stated Oliver Hermes, president and CEO of the Wilo Group. “We are constantly following our strategic development from an expert for heating purposes to a holistic options supplier for all functions within the transport, use and remedy of water and wastewater.”

The two corporations might be integrated into Wilo’s Water Treatment Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
However, FSM Frankenberger and WSM Walower stay independent and will proceed to be run by local managers.
