Micro Precision Products (a WIKA Group company) is now able to showcase another great achievement. The biggest orifice plate ever manufactured in India, to date, was stated in Palwal. The order was placed by among the largest EPC companies on the subcontinent. The mega orifice plate was finally commissioned in Bathinda in hawaii of Punjab (Northern India).
Precondition: Precision and know-how
The client?s project schedule was tight. To meet this, the production of such 34-millimetre thick orifice plates, manufactured from 316SS steel with a diameter of 2,690 millimetres, in addition to machining, testing, inspection and shipping were accelerated. The shipping of the orifice plates was completed with great care. As a bore of 1 1,275 millimetres needed to be executed with an accuracy of � 0.4 millimetres, precision and great skill were required.

Regardless of the COVID-19-related lockdown, Micro Precision Products succeeded in the duty. This was finished with the help of a special permit from the authorities, among other things. The delivery schedule was met on time. As this was a prestige project for the client, the business? Shameless were of the highest standard. These were all met completely.
